DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures daily and weekly planning is done and work is scheduled accordingly.
- Will be expected to perform any work-related duties when instructed.
- Clean equipment and tools.
- Ensure the company’s buildings and facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly
manner.
- Provide manual labour assistance on various task and assignments.
- Ensure site are cleaned; no rivets, plastic components etc laying around.
- Uses hand and power tools i.e., drills, grinders, saws, conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, hacksaws etc.
- Secures brackets to bulkheads and pull wires through conduit.
- Compliance to all reasonable instructions.
- Select the type and size of work required.
- Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
- Cutting of holes.
- Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
- Assembles and installs fittings.
- Inspects the surface to be spray painted and clean and prep accordingly.
- Remove rough spots and treat surface.
- Mix and prepare paint for application.
- Spray paints the surface.
- Quality check to finished product.
- Maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Reports any defects and or issues pertaining to cabin units, equipment and or machinery.
- Ensures that any shortcomings in material and or tool requirements are reported well in advance.
- Ensures that daily reporting of completed and or incomplete work is done to line manager/s.
- Ensure that housekeeping standards are always maintained.
- Ensure compliance to all statutory regulations.
- Ensure compliance to the organizational Health and Safety code of conduct.
- Carry out inspections to ensure that materials are stacked, transported, moved, and handled correctly and safely.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE equipment.
- Ensure that daily / monthly departmental tool, safety inspections and other
inspections are performed and signed off as per the required schedule. Report any findings or deviations to the Rentals Superintendent.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Matric
- Trade Test Certificate, Or studying towards trade test
- 2-years relevant experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to R10 500,00 per month
Work Location: In person
