Our workshop in Bedfordview, Gauteng, is looking for a Workshop Manager.
Applicants who have previously worked for an aftermarket service centre
such as BOSCH, e-Car, Car Service City, Car Care Clinic etc. will be given
preference.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee workshop activities, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage technicians and support staff, conduct performance reviews.
- Act as the point of contact between clients and the workshop team, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Manage tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
- Enforce SHEQ standards and ensure the workshop complies with industry regulations.
- Plan and monitor job progress, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are optimally allocated.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes, addressing issues proactively
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and workshop processes.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and manage performance.
- Clear verbal and written communication with staff, clients, and upper management.
- Quick decision-making and analytical thinking to address operational challenges.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Mechanical Background (vehicles)
- Automotive and Sales Background (workshop)
- Parts Knowledge
- Math skills
- Writing and reading skills
- Computer literacy
- Must be bilingual (English - Afrikaans)

R15 000.00 plus commission plus incentive
At least 5 years working experience in the Automotive Industry is required

Sat 07:30-13:00
