Our graduate scheme is a fast track 36-month programme, covering all aspects of marketing from
product category support and marketing services through to digital marketing and budget
management.
We’ll give you a real breadth of experience and a rounded understanding of the marketing function
within our South African businesses, where you will be right at the heart of creating and delivering
initiatives to support our sales goals. Perform well and you will get your first taste of real responsibility
after just 12 months of joining, when you’ll get a chance to own the marketing for one of the product/
service categories for your business(es).
During your 3 year programme with us there is a massive scope for you to create, contribute & inspire
in a number of initiatives within marketing. But the true benefit you get from this is very much down
to you – we’ll give you all the support & help you need, but it’s over to you to show initiative & make
the most out of the opportunities & learning developments that this programme has on offer

We are looking for a newly qualified Marketing Graduate to join our amazing team.
Requirements:
You will start with us as a Marketing Executive, where you’ll support your Marketing Manager(s) by taking direct
responsibility for the following:
- Understanding our systems & processes including our leads and enquiries models models
- Supporting the marketing team with tracking of sales for particular product/service lines as well helping finance to maintain price lists as & where appropriate.
- Joining some of the Route 1 sessions to understand that programme & marketing’s role in it as well as creating some of the training content.
- Organising photo shoots
- Maintaining & updating customer & marketing databases
- Organising & attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions & exhibitions.
- Creating appropriate content for Front Line Colleagues
- Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers. e-newsletters & videos.
- Learning how to manage an agency
- Running a campaign, managing the budget and evaluating success
- Working with the global category team by conducting competitor and market research with a range of methodology.
- Contributing to marketing plans
- Manage relevant sections on our company intranet site & ensure material is up to date ( making content & structural changes as required)
- Support the Communications Specialist with communication with front line colleagues including updates on campaigns plus production information.

- Understanding our innovation process as well as how we work with the category team for forecasting purposes.

- An ability to gather & make sense of large amounts of information & apply it to making business and customer-focused decisions.
- An ability to work successfully in and develop strong relationships with the marketing team
- Feeling comfortable in leading projects with a tight deadline & budget focus
- Having good analytical and interpersonal skills
- Having a ‘can do’ attitude and an ability to think outside the box
- An ability to present information in a format relevant to front line colleagues
- Being highly literate with an eye for design / creativity and paying excellent attention to detail & accuracy
- Being comfortable to make decisions, as well as using your own initiative to deliver projects
- Being able to multi-task and deliver at real pace
- Managing to manage your emotions to remain calm, focused & optimistic while dealing with
- Having an ambition for career progression within marketing
