We are seeking a proactive, well-organised and motivated Administrative & Marketing Assistant to join our growing remote team. This is a dynamic role requiring strong communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for marketing and customer service.
You will support the day-to-day operations of our sport coaching and holiday camp company by managing administrative tasks, customer communication, marketing activity, recruitment, and content scheduling across multiple platforms. Confidence when speaking over the phone is essential, as you will frequently call schools, parents, and customers on behalf of the company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communication & Customer Support
- Confidently call and follow up with schools, parents, and customers.
- Handle incoming communications via email, WhatsApp and phone.
- Draft and manage email responses professionally
- Maintain and update communication templates across internal spreadsheets.
2. Marketing & Social Media
- Manage all company social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube (posting daily stories and regular posts).
- Develop and schedule weekly marketing campaigns, particularly for weekends.
- Create flyers, banners, and templates for printing and digital use.
- Run Facebook, Instagram, and Google ad campaigns (experience preferred).
- Discover and post to local community groups on a strict schedule to maximise exposure.
- Grow our social media following by engaging with relevant accounts and responding to DMs.
- Suggest and implement new social media accounts or platforms to grow brand presence.
3. Administration & Operations
- Keep daily task lists and company spreadsheets (registers, templates, databases) fully updated.
- Ensure coaches are completing registers and send timely reminders if not.
- Manage Indeed job listings, screen applicants, and host interviews using a standardised set of questions.
- Use initiative to improve workflows and propose new systems or tools where relevant.
- Familiarise yourself with and help manage our booking system (ClassForKids).
- Log in daily to our time-tracking platform and stick to a structured work schedule.
4. Technical Tools & Platforms (Experience Preferred)
- Go High Level (CRM for WhatsApp and email marketing).
- Canva or similar design tools for flyer and content creation.
- Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Calendar).
- WordPress (desirable).
- Video editing or creative marketing tools (desirable).
Essential Skills & Experience
- Fluent spoken and written English (professional level is essential).
- Confident and friendly telephone manner.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in an admin, marketing, or customer service role.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise daily responsibilities efficiently.
- Self-starter attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of youth sports, education or grassroots football.
- Previous experience working with UK-based organisations.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and audience growth strategies.
- Basic graphic design and marketing content creation skills.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday (core hours).
- Limited hours on Saturday and Sunday for scheduled campaign posting and message replies.

Pay: R17 143,68 - R22 253,82 per month
