Assistant Audit Manager – Audit Department
A vacancy exists in the Pietermaritzburg office of a national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors for a Manager to commence duties as soon as possible.
Main Responsibilities
To provide a senior management role in the Auditing department
Responsibilities will include:
· Managing of client portfolios from beginning to end
· Managing of accounting clients
· Tending to various tax matters on behalf of clients
· Planning and execute external audit
· Manage and lead audit team
· Review audit file
· Review accounting file
· Finalisation of audits for partners review
· Ability to liaise with clients
· Must have experience in assessing staff performance and staff development
Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience
· CA (SA)
· SAICA articles completed at a South African auditing practice
· Maximum of 2 – 4 years post-articles’ experience
· Caseware knowledge/ experience
· Pastel knowledge/ experience
· Valid South African driver’s license
· Own transport
