Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Bartender who is also proficient as a Barista and has the ability to assist with stock-taking responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, assisting with stock management, and ensuring all supplies are maintained at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Assist in opening and closing duties for the bar and coffee station.
• Mix drinks based on standard recipes.
• Manage the bar area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies, clean, and organized.
• Maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere.
• Clean bar equipment and glassware regularly, and maintain a tidy bar area.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment.
• Ensure that the coffee and beverage ingredients are stocked and fresh.
• Assist with regular stock-taking and inventory management for bar and coffee supplies, ensuring all products are accurately counted and recorded.
• Monitor stock levels of alcoholic beverages, coffee beans, syrups, and other ingredients, ensuring that supplies are always available and in good condition.
• Collaborate with management to place orders for supplies as needed, ensuring that inventory is always maintained at appropriate levels.
• Help organize and rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Keep track of deliveries and verify that stock matches delivery orders/invoices.
• Conduct regular checks for expired or damaged products and ensure items are properly disposed of or returned.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring items are stored in the correct locations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender, barista, or stock assistant preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for creating high-quality drinks.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to work in a busy, sometimes noisy, environment.
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting boxes and managing inventory.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be immediately available
• Must reside in the Moreletapark or surrounding areas

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: R30,00 - R40,00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
