About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Boiler Operator to run and maintain our JTA Compac TC370 (3.7 ton/hr HFO) boiler, currently operating on paraffin. This is a critical role in ensuring a steady supply of steam for our production processes, maintaining safety, and optimising fuel efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor a paraffin-fired JTA Compac TC370 boiler.
- Adjust controls, valves, and settings to maintain optimal pressure and temperature.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Record operational data, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating industrial boilers (HFO or paraffin-firing experience preferred).
- Knowledge of boiler water treatment and fuel handling.
- Ability to read gauges, meters, and safety instruments.
- Understanding of relevant safety and compliance standards.
- Boiler Operator certificate (advantageous but not essential if experience is proven).
