Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Remote (U.S. hours Pacific Time or Eastern Time, depending on company needs)
Schedule: 40hrs/week

Summary:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team with reporting and reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced with U.S.-based accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions (AP/AR, general ledger entries).
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (if applicable).
- Prepare and issue invoices; monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support tax preparation activities in collaboration with external accountants.
- Identify process improvements for efficiency in bookkeeping tasks.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (U.S. experience required).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and U.S. accounting practices.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or other major accounting software).
- Experience with payroll systems is a plus (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, etc.).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

Pay: R600,00 - R800,00 per month
