We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Officer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a fast-paced call center environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations, conduct investigations, and resolve disciplinary matters
- Provide HR support to operations teams and act as a strategic business partner
- Drive performance management processes including KPIs, appraisals, and staff development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Manage leave processes, staff wellness, and absenteeism
- Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
- Provide HR reporting to management and assist in audits
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years HR experience in a call center or BPO environment
- Sound knowledge of South African Labour Law and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (e.g., Sage, SimplePay, or similar)
Soft Skills:
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Adaptable and proactive with a hands-on approach
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
