Job Description
- Will be site based for 2 years in Potchefstroom North West, travelling to other project sites
- Manage end to end project delivery
- Support the Project Lead in the management of the commission
- Collaborate with the overall cross-functional project team
- Check contracts for services for commissions under your control are in place with all clients/sub-consultants in line with group policy
- Help to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- Project planning, including advising the production of the detailed project plan
- Advise upon the procurement of resources-design and construction
- Monitor and advise upon projects finances/budgets
- Assist managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
- Ensure the production of formal projects progress and other reports
- Develop appropriate contractor interface
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or relevant discipline or equivalent qualification
- Registered as a CPM Candidate with SACPCMP
Experience
- 3 -5 years' experience working on large-scale, mission critical construction projects.
- Experience within the Real Estate, Retail, Commercial, Energy and Mining sector
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Technical ability to manage complex, multiple projects and programs as the key client interface
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential
- Own transport
