Key Responsibilities:
Administer, support, and maintain IBM CICS and MQSeries environments.
Ensure performance, availability, and reliability of middleware systems.
Participate in planning and execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) simulations and procedures (quarterly).
Perform regular system maintenance, monitoring, and tuning.
Provide rotational standby support (1 in every 3 weeks), including response to incidents outside of standard work hours.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across CICS/MQ environments.
Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to support business and system integrations.
Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and change control logs.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting IBM CICS (Customer Information Control System).Strong proficiency in IBM MQSeries (WebSphere MQ) setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience in high-availability environments, with a focus on uptime, load balancing, and failover.
Ability to support critical systems and perform standby duties as part of an on-call rotation.
Working knowledge of JCL, z/OS, and related mainframe utilities.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Previous experience in a financial or enterprise IT environment.
Exposure to scripting and automation for middleware tasks.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and DR planning strategies.
