Job Purpose
This role supports A&G Customers through effective and efficient processing or incoming claims. The claims consultant acts as the main point of contact for customers and provides exceptional standards of service by liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end to end claims processResponsibilities
Responsibilities (Not limited too)Respond to incoming customer calls and provide excellent phone service in lodging claims
Obtain complete and accurate information regarding circumstances and damages surrounding the claim
Consider relevant factors and make accurate decisions for claim acceptance
Provide correct and timely advice to resolve customer queries
Act as the first point of contact for client complaints and resolve these through listening and negotiation
Assist customers throughout the claims process, setting realistic expectations and providing effective solutions
Accurately record and process claim details in DISC system
Process claim estimates, adjustments and payments in a timely manner
Liaise with internal stakeholders in Assessing to progress the claim
Liaise with repairers and other external providers to support the customer
Manage personal portfolio of claims effectively, and assist other team members when necessary
Maintain sound knowledge of company processes, systems, products and brands
Adhere to relevant company policies and procedures
Meet and exceed individual performance targets and contribute to team goals
Assist Manager or Team Leader with additional projects or tasks
Demonstrate a commitment to the company values
Education
Matric / Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited (Advantageous) (Required)Experience
