We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead and support our Clinical programs in Nyandeni, Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate is a proactive and compassionate healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to community-based care.
Job Summary
The Clinical Manager will oversee the clinical aspects of One to One Africa’s clinical programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The role involves providing clinical leadership, supporting program implementation, supervising healthcare staff, and ensuring compliance with national and international healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide clinical oversight and technical leadership for all healthcare-related programs.
•
Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines in alignment with best practices.
•
Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including nurses, community health workers, program coordinators and supervisors.
•
Ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
•
Monitor and evaluate healthcare service delivery to ensure quality and effectiveness.
•
Support training and capacity-building initiatives for healthcare providers.
•
Collaborate with stakeholders, including government health departments, donors, and partner organizations.
•
Lead clinical research and data analysis to inform program improvements.
•
Contribute to grant applications, reports, and funding proposals related to healthcare services.
Qualifications and Experience
•
A degree in Professional nurse or Public Health
•
Registration with the relevant Health Professions Council.
•
At least 8 years of clinical experience, including 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
•
Experience in maternal, child, and adolescent health programs is highly desirable.
•
Strong understanding of healthcare systems, public health approaches, and program implementation.
•
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
•
Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and health data management systems.
