Content & Design Assistant

Overview:

ITC Hospitality Group is a fast-growing CBD-based and privately owned property letting and management company that has been in the industry for 20 years.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content & Design Assistant to support our marketing team. This role involves creating weekly marketing content, including static graphics and short-form video reels, designing marketing materials, assisting with copy-writing, and supporting overall marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create weekly marketing content, including graphics, carousels, stories, and short-form video reels, and submit for approval to the marketing team.
• Assist with the design of digital and print marketing materials (brochures, email layouts, presentations, etc.).
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas and campaign concepts.
• Design templates and brand assets using Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
• Edit short-form video reels using CapCut to align with brand style and trends.
• Support writing and editing of content copies for campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Help organize and maintain digital assets and brand resources.
• Provide general assistance for marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in content creation and graphic design (entry to mid-level).
• Proficiency in Canva for design and CapCut for short-form video editing (Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus).
• Strong understanding of marketing content formats, including reels and trending videos.
• Good writing and editing ability to support content copy development.
• Basic understanding of branding and marketing principles.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certificate in Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing marketing content (static and video) and design work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
