We serve freshly prepared meals, snacks, and top-quality coffee in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring excellent food presentation. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes according to the menu.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development of daily specials.
- Minimize food waste and manage resources efficiently.
- Work effectively as part of a small, friendly team.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a café, coffee shop, or casual dining environment.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Skills:
- Ability to prepare quality meals quickly and efficiently.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thrives with ability to work under pressure during busy periods.

Working Hours & Flexibility
- Full-Time/Part-time position with strong weekend availability required.
- Flexible shifts (9 hours per day, 3–6 days a week).

Salary & Benefits
- Expected Income: R6,000 – R8,000 per month (including tips and depending on hours worked).
