Key Responsibilities:
· Data capture and entry into spreadsheets and databases.
· General administrative tasks, including document scanning, filing, and typing.
· Ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
· Supporting the team with various administrative tasks as needed.
· Personal administration tasks for Director.
Type of work:
Remote. While the initial training will take place in Glenwood, the successful candidate will ultimately work from their own home. The successful candidate is expected to have:
· Their own laptop
· Printer/Scanner (a scanning app on a phone will not suffice)
· Reliable internet access (fibre or fixed LTE)
· Adequate home office setup
Requirements:
· We require an IT savvy person that can figure things out on their own. We have training videos and examples showing the different aspects of the work that needs to be done.
· The ideal candidate will have a track record of being able to resolve minor computer issues and be able to work with Microsoft Office products. The candidate is expected to be comfortable watching videos and learning how to perform the various aspects of work.
· Previous office administration experience is a must.
· Verifiable references
· Legal experience is beneficial.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Must be confident scheduling meetings (incl. Teams meetings)
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently.
· Ability to learn on your own using training videos
· Own transport for occasional on-site requirements, including weekly collection/drop off of files from Glenwood.
Work Schedule:
Part-time, 6-8 hours per day (flexible hours). Note, initial 2 months of work will be a training period and work will be undertaken in Glenwood at mutually convenient times (usually mornings).
Remuneration:
Our starting rate is R58 per hour, including training time.
Location:
This is a remote position, but candidates based near Glenwood are required. Candidates that reside more than 15 minutes away need not apply. This is a requirement due to our need to occasionally drop off files with you in order for you to complete your work.
