Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Communications, and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Develop, manage and implement a digital marketing and communication strategy
- Apply and interpret the communication strategy onto digital platforms i.e. intranet, internet, social media, mobile and apps
- Identify and assess new/under leveraged/emerging digital channels of communication (e.g. apps, social media, mobile technologies, blogs, user-generated content, RSS and video) and work with the marketing team to determine the value in driving marketing objectives and integration with ACSA's other marketing channels
- Conduct local and international digital media benchmarking
- Act as the webmaster, create new content, maintain and help to evolve the voice of web communications; research, write and edit rich, grammatically accurate content for ACSAs multiple websites, e-mails and social media, taking a proactive approach to improve our communications and brand across all online channels
- Identify and communicate website and promotional content and methodologies to internal departments and external vendors
- Write concise and powerful marketing copy for banner ads, landing pages, social media and other online communications as needed and collaborate with other staff in the creation of engaging marketing content for new initiatives
- Track and monitor performance for all digital content including website analytics
- Manage service level agreements with suppliers
- Develop and implement process management strategic plan
- Respond to queries, enquiries, requests and complaints as per SLAs
- Provide input into operational budget, monitor and conduct forecasting
- Develop project-specific plans when required and support implementation
- Compile monthly and quarterly reports, to monitor progress and trends
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience will be required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (3 years - 360 credits) NQF level 7 in Marketing / Media studies/ Communications / Public Relations is essential.
- 3-5 years operational experience in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations is essential.
- MS Office proficiency on an intermediate level.
- Code B; Motor vehicle licence and ability to travel

Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide proof of their qualifications, NQF level and credits, and must be eligible for Top Security Clearance within 3 months of appointment.
