We’re looking for a creative, proactive and super-organised Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Cape Town.
In this role, you’ll support our Social Media Manager, helping bring exciting digital campaigns and content to life across a variety of platforms. You’ll be a key player in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes—managing brand communications, assisting with content creation, and helping to drive brand awareness and engagement online.
You’ll work closely with our Digital Strategist and Project Manager to keep workflows running smoothly, campaigns on track, and deadlines in check. Whether it’s jumping into content, coordinating with teams, or handling the small stuff that makes the big stuff possible, your proactive, hands-on approach will be key to keeping the momentum going.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Community Management
- Perform daily checks across social accounts to ensure profiles (bios, banners, links) are current and accurate.
- Create engaging social content across multiple social platforms.
- Write attention-grabbing, on-brand copy for posts and campaigns.
- Schedule and publish social content with a strong focus on timing and consistency.
- Monitor comments, messages and mentions, engaging with followers and helping build a community.
Paid Media Support
- Prepare and share brand briefs with ad agency.
- Manage and organise creative assets for paid campaigns.
- Assist with ad campaign updates and coordination with the media agency.
- Track paid media tasks in Asana.
- Process and send brand invoices.
Reporting
- Collect and export data dumps for the Digital Strategist.
- Assist with pulling and organising social media statistics for reporting and performance tracking.
- Assist with recon spend reporting.
Digital Coordination & Operations
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the digital team, handling essential admin and support tasks.
- Be available to assist across departments and jump in where needed to help keep projects and tasks moving forward.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, communications, or a related field is advantageous.
- Experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role is advantageous.
- Having an active personal social media presence and showing a keen understanding of content creation across various formats is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, its features, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of paid media fundamentals, including common platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads).
- Proficient in design tools, video editing tools and social media management platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
