As a Dispatch/Loading Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate dispatch of stock to our stores, contributing to the seamless flow of operations. Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Transportation or relevant DC-related qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proven supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
- Strong team leadership and collaboration abilities.
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.
- Accurate and timely reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and execute planned loads from demand plan coordinators.
- Coordinate with Picking Supervisor to oversee the picking process.
- Hand reach-truck documents to drivers for efficient bulk item picking.
- Verify physical stock against picking documents, ensuring no damaged or expired items.
- Generate labels for stock and organize orders by destination.
- Liaise with drivers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Oversee the loading process, ensuring correct forklift handling.
- Manage documents for IBT processing and supervise sign-offs.
- Capture dispatched items on the GLS System.
- Supervise Dispatch Clerks and Forklift Drivers: Oversee workflow, ensuring efficient operations.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Provide leadership and support to the dispatch team.
