Trans Hex Group is looking for a skilled Draughtsperson to join our engineering team. You will create, modify, and maintain accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for mechanical systems, equipment, and structures used in mining, processing, and ancillary facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed drawings and 3D models as
- instructed by the Engineering Project Supervisor.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and perform clash
- checks and stress analysis.
- Maintain an up-to-date library of all technical
- drawings.
- Translate engineering concepts into accurate,
- fabrication-ready designs.
- Work closely with the engineering team to
- identify and resolve design issues.
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 with a National Diploma in Mechanical
- Engineering or relevant draughting qualification.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role (marine or
- engineering fabrication/manufacturing preferred).
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- SolidWorks experience is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
