Experienced English Language Educator (Examiner)
Subjects: Grammar, Composition, Comprehension, Vocabulary
ABC International, a well-established English Language School with over 31 years of excellence in TEFL education, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented English Language Educator to join our academic team in a specialised role.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced examiner to design and set monthly English language assessments for the following subjects:
- Grammar
- Composition
- Comprehension
- Vocabulary
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and submit well-structured exams (1 per month for each subject listed above)
- Align assessments with student levels (Foundation, Basic, Intermediate, )
- Ensure exams are creative, level-appropriate, and assess critical skills
- Collaborate with our head teacher and academic team to maintain standards and consistency
- Provide answer keys and marking guidelines
Requirements:
- TEFL/TESOL qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in English education and/or exam-setting
- Strong knowledge of ESL pedagogy and assessment design
- Exceptional grammar and writing skills
- Familiarity with Cambridge-style testing is an advantage
