Job Description:
Green Park College is seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join our language center. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons to learners of various age groups and proficiency levels. The teacher will create a positive, supportive, and effective learning environment that promotes language acquisition and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons based on the center’s curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and participation.
- Provide regular feedback and support to students to help them improve.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and training workshops.
- Encourage a communicative and interactive classroom atmosphere.
- Use technology and multimedia tools effectively in the classroom.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field)
- TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certification or equivalent
- Strong command of the English language (native or near-native proficiency)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and working with diverse student populations
- Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage behavior positively.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Previous experience teaching English in a language center or similar setting
- Experience teaching young learners, teens, and/or adults
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools
- Knowledge of CEFR levels and communicative teaching methodology
