- To lead a team of care staff that in clinical practice and ensure residents rights to privacy, dignity and safety are actively promoted.
- To demonstrate effective communication skills with residents, their families and management
- To actively supervise and monitor care practices, identifying and responding appropriately to the changing needs of residents and ensure their care needs are met.
- To undertake all nursing care required in accordance with care policies
- To be fully aware of emergency procedures
- To be aware of SANC code of conduct and adhere to them at all time
- To ensure all medications are ordered and stored, administered and disposed of in accordance with SANC act of 2005
