Finance Intern
This is for a 1-year leadership internship on-site at the hotel as part of the finance team.
Looking for newly graduated students able to work full-time with strong potential for full-time role at the end of the internship. The role aims to be recognized as a trusted finance team member. This role supports the finance team in all activities.
What will I be doing?
The Finance Intern is contributing and supporting the Accounts Receivable (Order to Cash section) for the efficient operation of Billing and Collection and all activities related to credit control, billing and collection. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Assists the Finance Manager in any projects and tasks deemed necessary for the efficient overall operation of the finance department.
- Ensure a smooth operation of billing and collection in full compliance with the policy, regulatory and contractual framework.
- Business partner with all hotel finance team members and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including Commercial and Operations.
- Support departments in all accounts receivable enquiries.
- Learns from fellow Finance Team Members the various roles and scopes within the finance department, assisting with month-end tasks and ad-hoc assignments as needed.

- Ability to work on large volume of financial information from many sources and assist with capturing, reports, and follow up on accounts receivable enquiries
- Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate
- Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems
- Ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate
- Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities
Detail oriented and organized
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required
Additional Preferences:
- University degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance-related studies
