The Officer: Finance and Licenses is responsible for the financial management and licensing oversight of the university’s intellectual property assets. This includes tracking IP-related expenditures, monitoring license agreements and income, maintaining communication with licensees, and ensuring cost recovery as per the IPR Act (51 of 2008). The role supports revenue generation and IP optimisation through accurate record-keeping and effective financial stewardship.
Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting – NQF7
- 1-3 years working experience, with at least 1-year relevant experience on accounting.
