Financial Reporting Specialist – Mining Industry

Our client in the mining industry is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team. This role requires expertise in financial reporting and analysis, with a willingness to travel across Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
- Consolidation: Manage financial consolidation processes across multiple operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting meets legal and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: Provide actionable insights from financial data to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within the mining sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial consolidation.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.
