This is a part-time coaching position. The coach will be paid a fixed term contract according to their expertise and coaching level. The Girls’ College invites applications for the abovementioned position which will be available from September 2025. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills and competencies to take on this position.
The requirements for this position are:
- A minimum of 3 years of coaching experience
- A high level of personal tennis experience in school, university, and a club environment. Leadership experience is preferable
- Be able to assist within the school’s Athletic Development and Physical Education Programme
- Be well acquainted with the Microsoft and Google suite applications
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering and building inclusiveness and diversity.
- An awareness of and willingness to commit to the school’s all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach
- Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate before employment can commence
- Must have a valid driver’s license
The role will include the following:
- Attend all Girls’ College team practices in the 1stand 3rd term.
- Attend tournaments and festivals for the Girls’ College over weekends.
- Attend the Girls’ College Championship
