Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Griller to join our kitchen brigade. The Griller will be responsible for preparing and cooking prime cuts of meat to exact specifications, ensuring consistency, flavour, and presentation meet the high standards our guests expect. This is a fast-paced role that requires precision, speed, and a passion for great food.
Key Responsibilities
- Grill and prepare a variety of premium cuts of meat, seafood, and accompaniments to order.
- Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented to the highest standard of quality and consistency.
- Monitor grill temperatures and cooking times to achieve precise levels of doneness.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver smooth, efficient service during busy periods.
- Uphold strict food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and section organisation.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the grill station throughout service.
- Contribute to menu specials and product knowledge around meat cuts and preparation.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Griller, ideally in a high-volume steakhouse or upmarket dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, cooking techniques, and grilling equipment.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for high-quality food and guest satisfaction.
