We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Guest House Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure high guest satisfaction, and effectively manage staff. The perfect candidate will have the opportunity to shape her experience, grow, learn, and explore new avenues to make this guest house great. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the guest house, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Supervise, train, and schedule staff to maintain smooth operations.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Oversee budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Implement and maintain efficient operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality management of 5 years or more , preferably in a guest house, boutique hotel, or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, reservation systems).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Hospitality or hotel management qualification (advantageous).
