Hospitality Manager position available in Stellenbosch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hospitality operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
- Lead, train, and motivate a front-of-house and hospitality team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Manage sales performance and implement strategies to drive revenue growth
- Monitor stock levels and control inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain hospitality SOPs and ensure team adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Create staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage during peak times
- Liaise with suppliers and manage cost-effective procurement practices
- Track KPIs, prepare regular reports, and present performance updates to senior management
- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely, professional manner
- Work closely with marketing to support promotions and seasonal campaign
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in a hospitality or food & beverage management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets
- Solid understanding of stock control and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, responsible, and proactive in problem-solving
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in hospitality management software or POS systems is a plus
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
