Summary of HSE Responsibilities:
Responsible for promoting and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards by conducting inspections, monitoring compliance, delivering safety training, and investigating incidents.
Duties include developing safety policies, supporting project teams, auditing systems, inducting new employees, ensuring PPE and tool compliance, and maintaining safety boards. Also ensures continuous coaching, hazard identification, and alignment with legal, ISO, and company requirements.
Profile
Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of health and safety field experience.
- Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or Certificate e.g. SAMTRAC / Nebosh.
- Registered with SACPCMP as CHSO.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities.
