Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies
- Handle full disciplinary procedures and grievances
- Support management on IR matters and training
- Foster positive labour relations and employee engagement
- Understanding of South African labour laws (LRA, BCEA, EEA)
- Experience in industrial relations or HR in a Retail environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive issues diplomatically
- Self-starter who can work independently and with teams
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Industrial Relations, HR, Labour Law, or related field
- Certification in labour relations (e.g. IR Practitioner) advantageous
- Experience with employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling
