Our client, a well-established supplier of high-quality, innovative products and materials tailored to meet specific manufacturing requirements, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Consultant to join their team in Polokwane, Limpopo. The successful candidate needs to come with 2 years of relevant experience. - Matric. (Grade 12)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in internal sales, preferably within a retail environment.
- Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Assist walk-in customers by providing product information and support to drive sales.
- Process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Generate accurate invoices and ensure all sales transactions are properly recorded.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations and tenders for clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
- Work closely with external sales representatives to coordinate sales efforts and share customer insights.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss sales targets, strategies and performance.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.
