JUNIOR BOOKKEEPER – Century City
A firm of Chartered Accountants based in Century City requires the services or a Junior Bookkeeper to Trial Balance.
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
Qualification
· Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
Skills and Experience
· Must have minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience in processing, analysing and capturing cashbook, creditors and debtors invoices
· Books to Trial Balance for companies and trusts
· Accuracy and a good understanding of reconciliations is essential
· Completion and submission of PAYE/UIF/SDL/WCA
· Completion and submission of VAT returns
Software Packages
· Strong Pastel Partner and Xero working experience essential
· Strong VIP Payroll Experience essential
· Greatsoft will be an added advantage
· Microsoft Office, must have good knowledge and experience specifically Excel
· Advanced computer skills
Further requirements
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Previous experience at a firm of Chartered Accountants advantageous
· A passion for service excellence with ability to maintain high standards of professionalism with clients
· Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
· Detail orientated, accurate and able to multi-task and adapt with change
· Organised, efficient and able to maintain composure under pressure
· Must have own transport
