We’re Hiring: Junior Demand Planner

Are you passionate about forecasting, data analysis, and driving product availability in a fast-paced retail environment? Boxer Superstores is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Junior Demand Planner to support our commercial team in delivering stock efficiency and availability aligned to our category strategies.
As a Junior Demand Planner, your core responsibility is to ensure optimal stock levels across our stores and distribution centres. You will work closely with buyers and suppliers to forecast demand, plan promotions, manage inventory health, and align with commercial strategies to maximise growth and profitability.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
3-year Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, or related
1–2 years’ experience in demand or supply planning, preferably in FMCG/Retail
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of demand planning systems (e.g., F&R)
Experience using merchandise management systems and BI tools
Familiarity with BoMM system and reporting cubes is advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

Align plans with buyers to ensure sales and stock targets are met
Manage supplier lead times and synchronized review cycles
Monitor, manage and reduce unproductive stock (aged, discontinued, overstocks)
Forecast promotional and seasonal demand using demand planning systems
Order stock timeously for new stores and upcoming promotions
Track performance of product lines and collaborate on in-store strategy
Maintain stock health across stores and distribution centres
Drive visibility and reporting for planning stakeholders
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery shortfalls and improve service levels
Participate in training, reporting, and ongoing process improvement
