A telecommunications company is looking for a new WIFI Field Technician to join our technical team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual that wants to learn and grow within the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities & Duties
· Performing daily site inspections/installations/callouts
· Performing troubleshooting of all technical, internet & network related issues
· Installing & configuring hardware & software components to ensure usability
· Repairing or replacing damaged hardware
· VOIP configurations
· Updating all relevant paperwork for work completed
· Climbing on roofs and working on heights with the necessary safety equipment
· Tidy and clean up after job completion.
· Ensure all tools and equipment are neatly organized inside the vehicle.
· Ensure daily stock is loaded.
· Ensure backup stock levels are maintained in the vehicle.
· Ensure that the vehicle is stocked with all necessary consumables needed
Qualifications & Skills
· Driver’s license a must
· Fluently in English and Afrikaans (Spoken & written)
· Matric certificate
· 1-3 Years relevant experience
· Network experience will be an advantage
· Experience with installation of internet services will be an advantage
· Able to work and contribute positively as part of a team
· Excellent written & verbal communication skills
· Good interpersonal skills
· Good problem-solving skills
· Must be willing to work overtime
· Have a good understanding of equipment used for installations.
· Able to follow and prioritize tasks according to instructions given.
· Must show pride in work ethic and company property
· Efficient time management.
· Good working knowledge of hand and power tools used in this position.
· Self-disciplined, motivated, and organized.
· Must be a team player.
· Must be presentable, reliable, and punctual.
