About us:
BVNK provides modern payment infrastructure for businesses. We unify banks and blockchains in a single platform. With BVNK, businesses can send and receive stablecoin payments, convert between currencies, and add stablecoin payments to their checkout. Using our flexible platform and robust global licensing and compliance expertise, innovators can launch new payment products quickly and compliantly.
We are a diverse team spread across EMEA, North America, and APAC, with a shared belief that all payment flows will interact with crypto in the coming decade, and BVNK will be at the forefront of this transformation of the financial system.
We recently secured a strategic investment from Visa through their Visa Ventures arm. This follows our $50 million Series B in December, led by Haun Ventures with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Scribble Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Avenir, and Tiger Global. The continued confidence from these leading investors has enabled us to accelerate our growth trajectory, and we're looking for smart, ambitious people to help us build the next generation of payments.
We're incredibly honored to have made Newsweek's list of The Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces two years running (2023 and 2024) and to have been recognised by LinkedIn as one of the Top 20 Startups in the UK in 2024.
About this role in the team:
We’re looking for a Legal operations manager to help introduce structure, systems, and strategy into the day-to-day work of our legal function to free up our lawyers to focus on high-value work and to help the team deliver faster, smarter, and with less stress.
We’re looking for someone who is tech-savvy who can both build and execute. You’ll be hands-on with legal tooling, processes, and reporting, while also collaborating with our product, engineering, and data teams to scale legal infrastructure. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of legal, technology, and operations in a fast-growing global fintech.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Tooling & Workflow Development: Build, configure, and maintain day-to-day tools (e.g., LawVu, Salesforce, Jira, Slack) and workflows to support legal operations. Partner with engineers and product teams to design scalable systems.
- Contract Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, including templates, versioning, automation, alerts, and integration with other business systems.
- Data & Reporting: Create dashboards, track legal KPIs, and maintain legal data integrity across platforms. Use insights to drive team efficiency and prioritisation.
- Vendor & Spend Management: Manage external counsel relationships, track legal spend, oversee invoice processing, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Project Management: Lead key legal initiatives, such as licensing applications and operationalisations, tool integrations, audits, and regulatory readiness. Own timelines, risks, and delivery outcomes.
- Privacy & Compliance Support: Collaborate with the DPO to operationalise data protection processes and support regulatory compliance.
- AI & Automation: Identify and implement AI or automation opportunities (e.g., contract analysis, workflow routing, doc generation) to reduce manual effort.
- Training & Enablement: Train legal and business teams on tooling and processes; promote self-service and adoption of scalable systems.
What we need from you:
- Legal operations or project/program management experience in a fast-paced legal or compliance team.
- Comfortable building workflows directly in tools like Salesforce, LawVu or similar (not just overseeing implementation).
- Strong technical fluency: can speak the language of engineers, draft requirements, and test configurations.
- Highly organised with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and partner across legal, engineering, product, and commercial teams.
- Proficient in tools like Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, DocuSign, and data reporting tools (e.g. Quicksite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, crypto, or other regulated tech sectors.
- Familiarity with financial services agreements or SaaS agreement structures and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Interest in or experience implementing legal tech, CLM platforms, or workflow automation.
- A growth mindset and curiosity about building things from scratch.

- Flexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart
