JOB TITLE:
Lettings & Registration Assistant
JOB PURPOSE
As a Lettings & Registration Assistant, you'll be instrumental in supporting our Lettings and Registration Legal Co-Ordinator with administrative tasks and the day-to-day progression of subletting registration. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our legal compliance department and demands someone who is organized, process-driven, and committed to excellence.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Manage the registration of tenanted properties, coordinating responses with agents and landlords.
- Draft correspondence and legal notices, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and timelines.
- Review and process documents, maintaining accurate records and diarizing follow-up actions.
- Liaise with agents, landlords, and tenants to renew consents and registrations.
- Coordinate responses to client inquiries and identify new business opportunities.
- Handle invoicing tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent academic qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic accounting and invoicing experience
- Experience in residential property management or related field
- Legal administration background or qualification
- Customer service experience

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- R16 000- R18 000 per month (dependent on experience)
- 15 days holidays (plus Public Holidays)

- Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 18:00pm (SA)
- Remote role
Note: This is a remote role that requires you to be based in Cape Town, Winelands or Surrounds due to the occasional office visit in Stellenbosch. You will also be required to have reliable internet access during working hours and periods of extended load shedding.
