DRS is seeking a Temporary/Locum Receptionist to fill in for our regular staff and ensure smooth operations during their absence. This position offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in different settings.
Purpose of position
Receiving patients in a friendly manner, capturing their information on the system, provide quotes for exams, take payments, provide info for the preparation of exams, handle queries, print patient reports.
Main responsibilities
Be the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations wherever you are needed. Receiving patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, capture and/or update their information on the system, provide quotes for exams, take co-payment/short or private payments, obtain authorization for exams, provide info for the preparation of certain exams, handle queries, print patient reports.

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook
2 - 3 years’ experience in a professional high-pressure environment
Attention to detail, high level of accuracy while working under pressure
Knowledge of medical aid and PMB rules as well as POPI Act regulations for healthcare will be beneficial.
Ability to build and maintain good relations with all stakeholders.
Must be willing to travel. Medical sector experience will be beneficial.
