Our company in Westmead, Pinetown, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for various properties in and around the Westmead area.
The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational & leadership skills, pay attention to detail, and have a solid understanding of Building, Maintenance and Safety practices.
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
- General maintenance of properties including electrical, plumbing, construction, and landscaping work
- Ensure that daily, weekly & monthly maintenance tasks are scheduled & completed timeously
- Conduct regular inspection of properties to determine maintenance needs
- Maintain inventory and records of services, repairs, equipment, supplies etc
- General and overall maintenance, service and repair of company assets, buildings & property
- Supervising and coordinating General Workers
QUALIFICATION
- Minimum Grade 12
- SA Drivers License essential
- Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, Landscaping Certification advantageous
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum five years of general maintenance experience essential
- Minimum two traceable references essential
SKILLS
- Energetic, Flexible, Hands-On Approach to all tasks & duties
- Sound verbal, written & telephonic communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability & willingness to work irregular and/or extended hours if needed
- Precise and Deadline orientated as well as attentive to detail
- Reliable, honest and of sober habits

Pay: R11 000,00 - R13 000,00 per month
