Job Summary
The Fund Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of investment funds, ensuring that all fund accounting, valuation, pricing, and reporting activities are performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and client service level agreements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial records and investor data, supporting client relationships, and enabling informed decision-making through the delivery of high-quality financial and operational reporting.
Job Description
Your key accountabilities will include the following;
- Perform fund accounting, valuation, pricing, and reporting activities in line with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and client service level agreements.
- Maintain the integrity of financial records and investor data.
- Support client relationships and enable informed decision-making through outstanding operational and financial reports.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including custody, compliance, performance, and reporting.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including trustees, asset managers, auditors, third-party vendors, and regulators.

- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Investment Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in fund administration or fund accounting.
- Experience with collective investment schemes, pension funds, or unit trusts.
- Familiarity with fund accounting systems (e.g., HiPortfolio, InvestOne, Investran).
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, fund structures (unit trusts, retirement funds, pooled investment vehicles), and the South African regulatory landscape (FSCA, CISCA).
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
