The role
You’ll coordinate the full flow of donated products — find leads, secure donations, manage inventory, and complete collections/deliveries to our beneficiary schools. It’s a hands-on role combining telesales, admin, and field logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and cold call/email companies to source product donations.
- Maintain a weekly lead pipeline (CRM/Google Sheets), schedule follow-ups, and log outcomes.
- Coordinate collections and deliveries; drive to suppliers and schools; obtain PODs and photos.
- Keep inventory accurate: receive, label, store, count, and issue stock; prevent losses.
- Prepare basic donation paperwork (e.g., Section 18A requests), thank-you notes, and updates to sponsors.
- Liaise with school contacts on needs lists and delivery windows.
- Produce simple weekly reports on leads, stock, and deliveries.
Minimum requirements
- Valid SA driver’s licence + own reliable car (essential; frequent local travel).
- Comfortable with cold calling and professional email/WhatsApp communication.
- Admin accuracy with Excel/Google Sheets; able to keep tidy records.
- Physically able to lift and move boxes (up to ±15–20 kg).
- Clear criminal/credit references; right to work in SA.
- Languages: Fluent English; an African language (isiZulu/Sesotho/Setswana/Sepedi, etc.) is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience in telesales, field operations, courier, warehouse, or NPO logistics.
- Basic Canva/Photos for donor thank-you posts (nice, not required).
What we offer
- R8,000 – R10,000 base (experience-based)
- Per-km fuel reimbursement (+ tolls/parking).
