The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day production while ensuring the utmost quality of all fertiliser products.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and resolve on-site problems
- Support and assist the Production Manager
- Ensure that the end products comply with the specification and quality requirements
- Review and train on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the relevant areas
- Ensure that the manufacturing process is punctual and of excellent quality
- Ensure health and safety standards are met
- Assist with the management of the factory staff
- Ad Hoc or other related duties as assigned

- The ability to perform high standards under pressure
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- National Diploma in Chemical/Process Engineering or any similar qualification
Experience
- 2-3 years experience in a factory or plant environment
- Experience leading a team (big or small)
Other specific requirements
- Willingness to work shifts
- Full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English (speaking and writing)
- Own transport is crucial
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Forklift license will be advantageous
