Property Manager (Full-Time)
Location: Cape Town
Salary: R12 000 - R18 000 (depending on ability and experience)
Start Date: ASAP
We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable, and organised Property Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of mostly residential properties. This is a practical role suited to someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently at times.
Responsibilities include:
- Filing, record keeping, emailing, data capturing
- Reconciliation of prepaid accounts
- Overseeing and tracking minor projects
- Reporting to directors
- Conducting regular property and unit inspections
- Liaising with tenants regarding maintenance, general issues and other other general communications required
- Coordinating repairs, cleaning, and groundskeeping with contractors or assistants.
- Overseeing and assisting maintenance work where needed (assistance through picking up or dropping materials required - for example)
- Keeping accurate records and logs of inspections, repairs, and updates
- Dealing with local authorities (e.g. utilities, compliance)
- Managing prepaid utilities: reconciling recoveries (water, electricity, etc.)
- General property admin and reporting back on progress
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is dependable, self-managed, and resourceful
- Has strong communication and organisational skills
- Is comfortable dealing with tenants, contractors, and city officials
- Can balance hands-on tasks with neat admin and reporting
- Has some experience or understanding of property maintenance/management
- Has a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (essential)

Education:
- High School (matric) (Required)
Experience:
- Property management: 2 years (Preferred)
- admin, filing and record keeping: 1 year (Preferred)
