Mammoth Technologies is looking for a Quality Control Officer to assist with the Quality in our Witbank Workshop.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- ISO 9001:2015 Development and Implementation Course (SAATCA Registered Course)
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal and Supplier Auditing Course (SAATCA Registered Course)
- Quality Control Level 1 (Minimum Requirement)
- 5 Years’ Experience as a Quality Control Officer in the Manufacturing/Engineering Industry verifying Steel Products and Welding Processing.
- Computer Literate – Microsoft Office Proficient

Main duties and responsibilities:
The Quality control officer must ensure the standards set for quality are adhered to in the workshop. To check the quality, maintain the quality packs and procedures set in place. Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. Devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes. Identify and communicate all deviations within customer-, product-, order- and system requirements.
The QC Officer is to assist with the review of Mammoth’s Management System by performing periodic Quality Internal Audits to determine compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 QMS and Mammoths own Management System requirements.
KPI's:
Manage Quality Control Packs:
- Check that templates are marked and in good condition
- Fill out and maintain Quality control packs
- Use QCP Packs as reference to control the quality of the products
- Check Assemblies, Holes drilled, Test bench assemblies, paint, and final products
- Verify the work that is done is correct according to the QCP
- Check packaging and parts to be shipped - Verify that the parts packet are correct
- Check and verify part according to the packing list
Manage NCR's:
- Identify non-conforming parts, product or procedure
- Report conforming parts, product, or procedure
- Fill out and investigate conforming parts, product, or procedure
Checking The Quality In Production:
- Check that templates are marked and in good condition
- Fill out and maintain Quality control packs
- Use QCP Packs as reference to control the quality of the products
- Check Assemblies, Holes drilled, Test bench assemblies, paint, and final products

Managing Measuring Equipment:
- Control and manage Measuring Equipment - Make sure all measuring equipment are checked and managed as required

- Comply with the Quality Management System requirements
