Introduction
The Recruitment Officer is responsible for the full recruitment and selection function for Sorbet nationally.
Job description
- Co-ordinate citizen requests and placements for existing stores
- Assist in scheduling interviews (existing stores)
- Recruitment - New Stores
- Attend activity meetings for new stores / change of ownership
- Schedule and attend One on One meetings for new stores / change of ownership
- Assist new FP in conducting and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate & schedule supplier training for new citizens - Notify: Suppliers / Citizens & FP
- Identify & form partnerships / relationships with reputable colleges
- Work in conjunction with colleges / principles to set dates for the following training to be conducted, once modules have been completed: Sorbet Brand Awareness / Sorbet Mani & Pedi - 1st & 2nd Years / Sorbet Skincare Training - 2nd & 3rd Years (annually)
- Co-ordinate the assessment of learners and placement into stores in conjuction with Recruiters
- Develop & update supporting administrative documents - registers / feedback documents.
- Receive & coordinate upgrade requests - feedback to FP within 72 hours (check all criteria)
- Delegate stores / citizens to the department (monthly)
- Perform upgrade assessments
- Follow up & ensure all citizen feedback is sent to the stores timeously
- Updating of citizen levels on LMS (monthly)
- Continous onboarding and updating of citizen details on LMS
- Monitoring and creating content for Social Media Pages
- WSP/SDL reports to be completed monthly and submitted annually
- Assist with the management of the careers email address
- Assist with the management of the Face Book Career page - design and upload adverts
- Back up assessor for beauty division (inland). Support regional recruiters.
- Work in conjunction with National Operations Manager in the standardisation of Thresholds (annually)
- Collation of Citizen Numbers per store - Training & Recruitment Fees (quarterly)
- Continous development and upgrading of supporting documents - Assessment sheets, SOP's (annually)
Minimum requirements
Job Knowlege
- Self-directed and able to work independently.
- Exceptional communication skills (spoken, telephonic and written).
- Organised and systematic.
- Detail orientated.
- Able to function under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Computer Literate (Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer)
- Degree/ Diploma in Management/Retail
- 3-5 year experience in a similar role
