Job Description
- Handles all incoming calls for accommodation, respond to all enquiries in a timely manner
- Resolves issues with guest in best possible way, bearing in mind the interest of the hotel and the guest
- Maintain up to date knowledge on sales strategies, rates, products, packages, facilities and inventory at all times
- Sell our products and services to meet guests needs in line with our concepts, with a focus on hotel profit
- Follow up on no-shows, commissions and loyalty programs
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with entire hotel focusing on Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Sales and/or Meeting & Events and F&B.
Qualifications
In order to be successful, the candidate needs to possess:
- At least 1-2 years Reservations experience in a 4/5 star hotel
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy is essential, with experience in using PMS - EMMa
- Excellent time management and organisational skills as well as accept a flexible work schedule when necessary
- The ability to use own initiative and work in a pressurised environment
- Excellent team player skills
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Excellent telephone manner and a clear voice
- High levels of motivation, enthusiasm and be innovative
