AddPay (Pty) Ltd is a successful fintech company in the payments industry.
As a sales consultant, you will need to work independently and manage your business prospects through the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to direct sale closure and onboarding new merchants. Existing experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales in the payment industry is crucial. The position requires a good general insight into the payment industry and the ability to optimize infrastructure to contribute to developing our growing customer base. The candidate must have a passion for building relationships with key clients and merchants and handle commercial engagements with business (corporate) client.
Fixed Term Contract: one year
Cost-to-company Salary: R20 000 - R35 000 (depending on years of experience)
(Travel and Cell Phone Allowance included in cost to company)
Commission: Based on agreed upon targets
Leave: 15 workdays per annum (1.25 workdays per month)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and sales, business or a related field or recognized business-related diploma
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the fintech industry or banking sector is a requirement
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport is a requirement
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of financial technology solutions and trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and establish relationships to generate sales leads
- Engage with clients to understand their business challenges/goals to generate sales.
- Develop a sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Collaborate with the product development and technical teams to tailor fintech solutions to meet the unique requirements of clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our fintech solutions.
- Create and present compelling proposals, highlighting the benefits and ROI of the fintech solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and position the company’s products effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools
- Work closely with sales team colleagues to negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback from the field to contribute to the improvement of products and services
- Stay informed about industry trends and advise clients on how to leverage fintech solutions to achieve their business objectives.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, market trends
- Reporting to the National Sales Manager.
