Sales Estimator Required
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Estimator to join our team. The Sales Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for products or services, collaborating with the sales team to support client needs, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored proposals.
Research and source material to ensure accurate pricing.
Present estimates and proposals to clients, addressing questions or concerns as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and competitor offerings.
Work closely with production, and procurement teams to validate estimate accuracy.
Track and update estimates as project scopes or requirements change.
Qualifications: Experience in sales, estimating, or a related field (e.g., construction, manufacturing).
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy.
Proficiency in specific software, e.g., Excel, Pastel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications (preferred).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Skills: Experience in Construction, Sales, manufacturing would be advantageous
Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost control principles.
Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
