Primary Objective:
To represent the company in the field by promoting products, generating leads, assisting with customer interactions, and supporting sales operations to grow brand awareness and market presence. NOTE - this position is COMMISSION only till proven track record can be set
Key Duties and Responsibilities:1. Field Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Distribute flyers, samples, and marketing materials in target areas.
- Conduct in person awareness campaigns.
- Set up promotional stands or pop-up booths at events or high-traffic zones.
- Speak confidently about the brand and product offerings.
2. Lead Generation
- Engage with potential customers in public or targeted areas.
- Collect names, contact details, and specific interests of potential clients.
- Record all lead data accurately on designated forms or apps.
3. Customer Interaction & Support
- Answer basic product-related questions from potential clients.
- Assist customers in-store or at roadshows/pop-ups.
- Direct interested customers to the nearest store or sales agent.
4. Sales Support
- Assist senior sales reps during promotional events.
- Upsell or cross-sell entry-level products (with supervision).
- Follow up with interested leads when required.
5. Reporting & Communication
- Submit daily/weekly field reports detailing:
- Areas covered
- Number of interactions
- Leads collected
- Feedback received
- Communicate field challenges, competitor activity, and opportunities to the team.
6. Merchandising & Display Maintenance
- Ensure marketing displays and banners are set up correctly and neatly.
- Check that materials are replenished and not damaged.
7. Product Training & Development
- Attend all product knowledge and sales technique training sessions.
- Continuously learn about new product features and promotions.
8. General Admin & Compliance
- Follow company policies on dress code, code of conduct, and customer interaction.
- Keep all data collected confidential and follow POPIA or relevant data laws.
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and energetic personality
- Willingness to work on the ground and in various locations
- Basic literacy in using mobile apps, WhatsApp, or digital forms
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R5 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
